This evening after dinner, President Dave Stemmer brought our meeting to
order at 7:00.
We had 26 members and guest in attendance.
Being the last meeting of the year, we offered two fly boxes
– of choice – for this evening's raffle, no door prize tonight.
Dick won the box of steelhead flies
Thank you everyone who participated in this evening’s
raffle. We made $105 to help cover the expenses of the evening.
Steve won the box of trout flies
Tight lines and have fun guys, with your new fly box.
Business matters was of short discussion; this will be
our last meeting of 2016, that Grant Richie would be making a presentation at
our January 18, 2017 meeting, and some fishing trips were relived.
Barbara and Dale told of their near freezing experience on
Anthony Lake on Nov. 6, when all they caught was their creel of stocker triploids.
There was a couple of steelhead fishing trips mentioned, but with no hookups to report.
This evening we were privileged to have Devin Olsen making
presentation to our club. Devin comes with a long list of credential of fly
fishing accomplishments and adventures.
- He is a member of the 15 member Fly Fish Team USA ~ one of 6 that is on the world travel team
